Renovation of a water / sewer project in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Water Treatment Plant Administration Building Hardening The work generally consists of the following: The project involves replacing existing doors and windows at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Administration Building, Treatment Plant, and Generator Building with new hurricane impact resistant storefront doors, fixed and operable windows, and solid security doors. Work will be completed in a way that ensures no disruption to WTP Operations. The time allotted for this project is 90 days for substantial completion. Question Deadline 11/09/2025 All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedin.gov. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. An addendum posted online will communicate questions and answers to all respondents. The last addendum will be posted online five (5) days before the bid due stated. The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time. It is the bidders responsibility to check online for final documents and addendum prior to bid submittal. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements, as set forth in the contract. The City of Dunedin, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, waive any irregularities or informalities, re-advertise, and award the Contract in its best interest. Bids that are incomplete or that are not submitted in accordance with the instructions in the invitation may be disqualified.
