Renovation of a residential development in Fairmont, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority (FMHA) is soliciting bids from qualified companies interested in providing installation of new HVAC systems and hot water tanks to 3 (three) Public Housing Units located in Fairmont, WV. The public housing program provides affordable rental options for low-income families and is primarily funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This project units are 225 Billingslea Street, 1638 Oregon Avenue, and 613 Ogden Avenue Fairmont, Marion County, WV. The project sites are located within the city limits of Fairmont. Bidder will determine if the unit needs a 40,000 or 60,000 BTU Furnace or 1.5 ton AC or 2- ton AC after inspection of the unit. 225 Billingslea Street will have: TBD BTU 80% downflow/ TBD ton AC with a 40 Gallon TBD tank 1638 Oregon Avenue will have: TBD BTU 80% downflow/ TBD ton AC HOT WATER TANK IS NOT NEEDED FOR THIS UNIT 613 Ogden Avenue will have: TBD BTU 80% downflow/ TBD ton AC with a 40 Gallon TBD tank HVAC Units required are Goodman, with a thermostat and inspect line set. Hot Water Tanks required are new Reliance or equal water heater, using same type of ignition system and replacement parts. T&P discharge line must be CPVC or copper and be 4" from the floor after being installed. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all materials and labor to complete project. Contractor is responsible for traffic control during the project. Contractor is responsible safe work practices when performing this work Contractor is responsible for obtaining a City of Fairmont Building Permit Work to be completed within 45 days from Notice to Proceed.
