Renovation of an educational facility in Fairmont, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1. Replace 3 stones that have deteriorated too significantly and should be replaced in kind. Words will be carved into the new stone. Stone to be removed and sent to quarry to be profile matched. 2. Clean remaining stone and repoint all joints in the flat stone. Point, where needed, at the roughcut stone. Profile to match as closely as possible. 3. Patch the remaining stone with Conproco patch. Ornamental carvings will not be restored to like new appearance. Most of the patching will occur at the flat portion of the stone surrounding the ornamental carvings. 4.
