Scope of Work: Interior: .1 Install temporary air tight enclosures to seal off corridor from main school and adjacent classrooms. .2 Temporarily remove suspended ceiling tiles and store for reinstallation. .3 Remove all vapour barrier and batt insulation and dispose. .4 Clean the underside of wood deck to remove any signs of water damage. .5 Reinstall ceiling tiles. Exterior: .6 Supply and install new insulated wood stub walls above corridor section of roof. .7 Infill area with polyiso insulation. .8 Seal section of roof with new two ply modified bitumen roofing as specified. A Bid Bond equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Tender amount and a Letter of Surety from a bonding company guaranteeing to supply a Performance Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the total contract amount and a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the total contract amount. a) Work is to begin on July 14, 2025. b) The completion date for the interior work shall be July 31, 2025. The completion date for the exterior work shall be August 22, 2025. Lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to remove the Contractor from the site if the work is not completed as specified in Paragraph 4.
