Site work for a civil project in Lamont, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert over a tributary to Whitford Creek, located 7 km northeast of Hilliard (SW 14-54-17-W4M). The Contractor shall install a 1.6 m diameter CSP culvert by 23 m invert length as per the Design Sketches and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located 5-degree LHF skew to the local road, centred at Station 5+548.500. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish capture and release Demolition and disposal of bridge structures Excavation, including geotextile filter fabric Supply and assembly of culvert materials Backfill, including backfill material testing Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Roadway work Permanent environmental protection devices
