This Request for Information (“RFI”) is an invitation by the Town of Lamont (the “Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the replacement or restoration of the Lamont arena roof, that is approximately 2200 square meters of 24 GA metal roof. The Town of Lamont is a progressive community with a population over 1740 located 45 minutes east of Edmonton on HWY 15. The work involves the replacement or restoration of the Lamont arena roof, which is approximately 2200 square meters of 24-gauge metal roof. Proposals may address either the replacement with new metal roofing or restoration using roof coating membranes and ceramic coatings. The contract proposals must specify the work to be performed, any exclusions, warranties on workmanship and materials, and include a construction timeline. The bidder must provide firm prices and specifications valid for 30 days after closing. Proposals should outline the following (as applicable to the chosen option): Ability to provide and install 2200 square meters of 24 GA metal roof, including delivery to site or provide and install roof coating membrane and ceramic roof coating. Ability to remove the existing metal roof (if applicable). Supply and installation of all required custom flashing, fasteners, caulking (if replacing roof). Provision of all scaffolding, manlifts, or other equipment required for safe completion. Rust treatment and primer coat if restoring roof. Site cleanup upon completion of work.
