It should be clearly understood by the bidder that the scope of work under this contract involves approximate locations, as shown on the plan and described in the specifications. If the owner and/or Engineer deems it necessary to change the location or grade of a structure or pipe, due to utilities, subsurface structures, unavailability of right-of-way or other unforeseen obstacles, the contractor shall not be entitled to extra compensation by reason of the change. The unit prices bid under this contract shall be used to compensate the contractor for all work performed which, in the opinion of the Engineer falls within the scope of the work. The bid shall provide for the installation of shoreline landscaping restoration along the northwesterly side of Colonial Lake on Township property behind Colonial Bowling and Entertainment. The landscaping will consist of trees (8), shrubs (92), live stakes (30) and plugs (500) along the bank of the lake. It is anticipated that a construction contract will be awarded on August 19, 2025. Construction shall commence on or about September 3, 2025. The completion of the project shall be twenty (20) working days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed by September 30, 2025.
