This Work Consists Primarily of the Construction of Approximately 7,000 Lf of 18-inch Sdr-26 Pvc Sewer Main and 15 Manholes Installed Parallel to an Existing 12-inch Sewer Main and Other Incidental Work Located Between the Intersections of Glassford Hill Road/santa Fe Loop Road and Roundup Drive/north Prairie Lane in the Town of Prescott Valley. A Significant Portion of the Work is Located in Existing State Land Row's. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Surety Bond for Ten Percent of The Amount of the Bid Included in the Bid Proposal as a Guarantee. -if Utilizing a Certified/cashier's Check - Please Deliver the Check Before the 3:30 Pm July 7th, 2025 Deadline to the Town, Either by Mail or Drop Off. -if Utilizing a Surety Bond - Please Upload a Copy of the Bond Alongside Your Proposal. The Town of Prescott Valley reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bid proposals, or any part thereof, to withhold the award, and waive any informalities deemed in the best interest of the Town. The site is located within a State Land parcel, ROW #16-52106, and has received regulatory clearances and ROW amendments to construct the new sewer line and appurtenances. Project Administrative Issues a) Project Scope: The work consists primarily of the construction of approximately 7,000 LF of 18-inch SDR-26 PVC sewer main and 15 manholes installed parallel to an existing 12-inch sewer main and other incidental work located between the intersections of Glassford Hill Road/Santa Fe Loop Road and Roundup Drive/North Prairie Lane in the Town of Prescott Valley. A significant portion of the work is located in existing State Land ROW's. b) Based on the estimated project cost, the project may also include the construction of approximately 9,000 sq yd of 12 ft wide utility access road, 2 - 8 ft ranch gates and pedestrian gate, and a utility access road low water crossing (Additive Schedule B). c) Bid schedule Unit Prices and item Bid Totals must include all state and local taxes. d) The following permits will be required: a. Town ROW Permit (includes inspections, traffic control plans, construction signage plans, and maintaining the existing signage and trail facilities) b. Building Permit (if a construction office will be used) c. Temporary Storage Yard Permit (if staging/storage is to occur outside of the project limits and not on Contractor owned property) e) Hours of Operation: Hours of Operation shall be followed. No equipment shall be turned on before 7:00 am and must be shut down by 7:00 pm. Requests for extensions of these hours must be made in writing to the Project Manager. f) Construction video is required of the project and staging areas prior to commencement of construction. A second video is required of the project area and adjacent properties at the conclusion of the installation project. g) The Contractor is responsible for securing all necessary Bluestake services for the project and field verification of all underground utilities prior to commencement of construction. h) Available Staging Area: The Contractor shall limit operations and equipment to Town property, State Land rights-of-way, easements designated by the Town, or on private property owned/obtained by the Contractor for the project. i) Quality Control: As stated in the Bid Proposal Packet, this shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. j) Control of Materials: Contractor shall adhere to ADEQ Required Testing for Sewer Lines and Manholes in conformance with MAG and ADEQ requirements. Sewer Infrastructure TV inspection is required per QCSDs 445Q-1, 2, 3, and 4. k) SWPPP Requirement: A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in compliance with the current ADEQ Construction General Permit is required for this project. The Contractor will be responsible for preparing and complying with the SWPPP permitting requirements. l) Dust Control and Trackout/Carryout per bid packet will be strictly enforced. m) Warranty: Contractor shall guarantee the work against defective work or materials for a period of two years. 4. Project Key Issues a) The Contractor is to apply for and adhere to the requirements of the Prescott Valley Right-of-Way Permit. Only one Right-of-Way Permit is required for the entire project with Traffic Control Plans provided for each applicable roadway/area. b) Adhere to all State Land Permit requirements. The permits are included in the bid documents. c) The Contractor shall restore and rehabilitate disturbed areas once construction has completed. Disturbances and/or damages incurred must be returned to "like-kind" or better condition. d) Item 47 - Noxious Weed Control and Wash Station and other first Addendum items. e) The Contractor shall not plug, bypass, or shutdown any part of the existing sewer system without first authorization from the Town and Jacobs. The Contractor is to determine if bypass pumping and/or shutdowns are more appropriate for existing system modification. Shutdowns to be completed at night. Provide advanced notice to allow Town staff and Jacobs time to schedule and prepare for bypass pumping or shutdowns. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ABIDE BY ALL STATE LAND REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO THIS PROJECT. Any excess grading or trench spoil material must remain on site and can be spread out along the pipe corridor or used where needed for fill construction. The Question period for this opportunity ends You will not be able to send messages after this time. for technical questions related to your submission online The CONTRACTOR shall furnish any and all labor, materials (other than those listed as supplied by the TOWN), equipment, transportation, utilities, services and facilities required to perform all work for the construction related to the PROJECT, to completely and totally construct the same and install the material therein for the TOWN, in a good and workmanlike and substantial manner and to the satisfaction of the TOWN through its Engineers and under the direction and supervision of the Engineer, or the Engineer's properly authorized agents, and strictly pursuant to and in conformity with the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Engineers for the TOWN, and with such modifications of the same and other documents that may be made by the TOWN through the Engineer or the Engineer's properly authorized agents, as provided herein.
