Request for Tenders for Sherbourne Street Bridge Over Rosedale Valley Road Fire Damage Repair (ID 250) and Lawrence Avenue East Over Highland Creek Deck Drain Repair (ID 358). The Work includes the repair of two bridges: Sherbourne St. Bridge over Rosedale Valley Road (ID 250) and Lawrence Ave. East Bridge over Highland Creek (ID 358). The repair on the Sherbourne St. Bridge will address the damage caused by a fire underneath the 18m south span. Work on the Sherbourne St. Bridge to include, but not be limited to traffic control, concrete removal and patching, cleaning and coating of structural steel, heat straightening of steel, steel stringer repairs, installation of permanent fence, landscaping and site restoration. The repair on the Lawrence Ave. Bridge will address the corrosion caused by deck drains leaking into the box girders and consist of the replacement of 10 deck drains (including catch basins). Work on the Lawrence Ave. Bridge to include, but not be limited to traffic control, concrete/ asphalt removal, fabrication of catch basins, and installation of new deck drains, cleaning the exterior girders (two girders in total), and provisional repairs to the exterior girders.
