Site work for a water / sewer project in Freeport, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project calls for the replacement of approximately 550 linear feet of bulkhead. These instructions are relative to the Village of Freeport Department of Public Works Project: GUY LOMBARDO MARINA BULKHEAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid insuring to the benefit of the Village of Freeport, or a certified check of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid, made payable to the Village of Freeport, to assure the entering of the successful bidder into a acceptable contract. In submitting a bid, bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date for the opening thereof The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids which, in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced shall be rejected.
