Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Center Line, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project includes the following Work: Installation of tennis/pickleball court and HMA sidewalk. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 340 Ton HMA Pavement (Thickness Varies) 760 Lft Fencing 1 LSUM Lighting 5 Ea Net and Posts 1 LSUM Earthwork/Excavation Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The above-referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the Council of Michigan Foundations, dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by veteran-owned, small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises is encouraged. The Contractor and all subcontractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act) and Executive Directive 2019- 09, as amended. In accordance with these laws, all contracts the grantee enters into must contain a covenant by the Contractor and any subcontractors not to discriminate against an employee or applicant for employment with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges of employment, or a matter directly or indirectly related to employment, because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, partisan considerations, or a disability or genetic information that is unrelated to the individual's ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position. The Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 3141-3148) and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708) will be required. In accordance with the statute, contractors must be required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. City of Center Line, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner. DOC NOTE : Information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Prints and PDF files may be purchased together for $60. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
