Wolfe Middle School Renovations & Fire Alarm Upgrades will consist of separate sealed bids for the following Bid Divisions: Earthwork / Utilities / Asphalt Paving / Exterior Concrete, Selective Demolition, Masonry, Carpentry / General Trades, Metal Studs / Drywall / Acoustical Treatments, Carpet / Resilient Tile, Painting, Wood Flooring, HVAC, and Electrical. All proposals shall be submitted electronically through Building Connected. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Sealed Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and tabulated. Bids submitted after the specified time and date will not be considered or accepted. Bidding documents will be available for public inspection at the offices of the Construction Manager and on Building Connected. All bids must include the Familial Disclosure Affidavit, the Iran Linked Business Affidavit, and the Criminal Background Check Affidavit. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of five percent of the amount of the Bid in the form of a bid bond or certified bank check. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Contract, provide required insurance certificates, and file the required bonds within ten days after notice of award of Contract and before commencing work. The successful bidder may also be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price. The Center Line Public School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and accept a bid other than the lowest bid.
