The Scope of Work for this Project is the construction of replacing several commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems located at four (4) different St. Johns County (SJC) Locations. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, and equipment required to provide construction services for replacing several commercial Heat, Ventilation and Air (HVAC) systems at four (4) locations in St. Johns County, Florida. The Contractor may use subcontractors for sheet metal ducting, electrical, Fire alarm, and Building Automation Controls, but for all other scope, subcontractors will be prohibited. All units are to receive new refrigerant line sets which are to be properly sized, strapped, and insulated, following the instructions of the equipment that is selected. It is also expected ACR Refrigerant tubing is to be used unless it is impossible to route with it now being an add on. All Air Handler emergency drain pans are to be replaced with new. It is also required that all systems are to be equipped with low ambient components to provide compressor protection. HVAC Systems: Equipment brandsthat will be accepted by the County for equipment replacements are Carrier, Trane, or Daikin. No other brands will be accepted. Submittals: All equipment along with all other components that are included in the installation must be submitted and approved by the County before ordering for installation. Permits: Contractors are responsible to obtain all required permits before the install begins at each location. Code: Commercial Code must be followed.
