The City of Douglas is soliciting qualifications from GDOT pre-qualified consulting firms for Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Services (Area Class 8.02) at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport. This RFQ is intended solely for CEI services under Area Class 8.02. Lighting and electrical design services are not included in this solicitation and are addressed separately under Area Class 2.09b. Similarly, this RFQ excludes any design, planning, or airport layout plan services, which are covered under Area Classes 2.09a and 1.08, respectively. The City intends to establish a multi-year, task-order-based contract with the selected firm(s) for a five-year period, with services to be assigned as needed based on FAA, GDOT, and City project requirements. Separate sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received for the provision of these services for Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport. All questions regarding this bid must be submitted to Mrs. Georgia Henderson, Assistant City Manager, via email only at ghenderson@cityofdouglasga.gov no later than July 24, 2025, by 5:00 PM. No phone calls will be accepted. The City of Douglas reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. No late bids, proposals, or emailed submissions will be accepted or opened. The City of Douglas further reserves the right to waive any technicalities or irregularities so that an award can be made in the best interest of the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
