Renovation of a mixed-use development in Douglas, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Separate sealed bids will be received for qualified engineering services for the oversight and management of the Hurricane Michael Emergency Supplemental Historic Preservation Fund (ESHPF) project for rehabilitation of the WWII Flight School Classroom Building located at 14 Airport Circle, Douglas, Georgia. In addition to the base proposal, bidders are invited to submit an optional, separately quoted alternative bid for additional repair and rehabilitation items that may be undertaken if funding permits. If submitting an alternative bid, it must be provided in a separate, sealed envelope from the base bid and clearly labeled. This envelope should be enclosed in the same package as the base bid, but must remain clearly distinguishable. Contractors will not be penalized or disqualified for choosing not to submit an alternative bid.
