Renovation of a municipal facility in Sherburne, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
1. Remove old roofing off flat roofs. Contractor must be ACM certified and in charge of removal per NYS Building code 56 as there is ACM containing materials in the roof. 2. Contractor cannot start abatement till safety plan is signed by all parties and posted at the job site. 3. Remove old roofing and properly dispose of all materials are contractor's responsibility. 4. Contractor to replace any underlayment on the roof if water damaged or damaged from tear off. Fascia that is damaged from tear off should be replaced also. 5. Contractor to install new rubber roofing Carlisle roofing .090 thickness or equivalent to approved by Maintenance Supervisor. Drip edge on flat roof. 6. Any damaged soffit or facia done by contractor will be contractors responsibility to replace with new. 7. All work done shall comply with NYS Building codes and all other applicable codes. 8. Work must be warrantied for any defects in the roofing or other failures for a period of one year from the time the is paid for the job. 9. All work must be inspected by Maintenance Supervisor before job is considered complete. BROOME DDSO reserves the right to: Reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFQ (Request for Quote); Disqualify any Bidder whose conduct or proposal fails to conform to the requirements of this RFQ. Selection may also include such issues as past performance. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work.
