This project replaces the existing Jack Arch Bridge that carries Route 12 over the tributary of Chenango River. Town of Sherburne, Chenango County. NYSDOT Region: 09 Southern Tier Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2030/2031. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT : RT 12 Over Chenango River Overflow, Bridge Replacement, Town of Norwich, Chenango County *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
