Site work and renovation of a civil project in Maysville, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Buffalo Trail Water Association Inc. is seeking proposals for services relating to the Water Systems Improvements Project. Qualifications will be taken for engineering services. Minimum requirements include previous experience in engineering design and inspection on similar projects. Buffalo Trail Water Association Inc. seeks funding for water system improvements. The project involves the replacement and installation of approximately 33,000 LF of 4", 6", and 8" water mains. The existing water mains are made of older Class 160 material and are prone to leaks and breaks. In addition to the leaks and breaks, some of the mains are undersized in areas and create hydraulic difficulties for the utility in efficiently serving its customer base. The new water mains will also eliminate dead ends within the distribution system. This will help to improve the overall water quality in the system. The project will also rehabilitate an existing booster pump station to increase pumping efficiency and reduce wear and tear.
