No definite date for the rebid.** Davenport Civil Rights Renovations For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - Working days will be charged at the time the Contractor starts work. The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid within 15 Working Days. Work on this project shall either be Completed prior to September 1st, 2025 or started after September 29th, 2025. Working days will begin on December 1st if the Contractor has not started work prior to this date Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $1,00.00 per day. Remove & dispose of existing furniture. a. Properly disconnect all electrical and data ports b. Comply with local, state and federal regulations to remove and properly dispose of all office furniture remaining in the offices at the time the Contractor is given control of the offices. c. All areas associated with furniture disposal to be patched and painted as indicated in the plan sheets. d. Under a separate contract, the Owner will provide new furniture for these offices. 2) Paint colors are to be determined by the owner. Contractor shall provide color pallet from which the Owner may select the desirable color(s).
