RFI Questions All Request for Information (RFI) questions must be submitted to Michelle Exaros at michelle.exaros@resourcele.com by end of day (5pm EST) Thursday, July 10, 2025. Answers to the RFI questions are anticipated to be posted to the City of Danbury Bid Posting by 12pm on Monday, July 14, 2025. The Project's mechanical scope consists of the replacement of 219 steam traps (and associated piping) located at the following facilities: 1. Broadview Middle School 2. Danbury City Hall 3. Danbury High School 4. Mill Ridge Primary School 5. Hayestown Elementary School On behalf of the City of Danbury, Resource Lighting + Energy ("RLE") will receive proposals for the reissued Steam Trap Replacement/Repairs. RLE is acting as Owner's Representative for the City of Danbury and is coordinating all bid and award activity with the City of Danbury Purchasing Agent Office. Envelopes should be marked: "Bid #2025-RLE3.2 - STEAM TRAP REPLACEMENT/REPAIRS - REISSUED" The City of Danbury and its project partner (RLE) reserves the right to reject bids, in whole or in part, to waive minor irregularities in the bidding, and to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed in the best interest of the City. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within five (5) days of the bid opening date. All bidders must submit sealed bids; electronic bids via email will not be accepted. Pre bid meeting was already performed on 1st submission. This submission is to clarify pricing and contractor selection process.
