ESTIMATED COST: $450,000 -$530,000 (Incl. WSST) This project allows for the construction of a secured, fenced parking area for the City's Police Department utilizing a vacated roadway adjacent to the police entrance at the Shelton Civic Center. The Awarded Contractor must maintain access to the police entrance at all times, or coordinate and communicate the need for alternative routes when access is not feasible, to ensure emergency response is not impacted. Work, includes furnishing and installing new perimeter security fencing, vehicle gates (entry and exit), a pedestrian access gate, security lighting, and related security infrastructure. The project also includes demolition, replacement, and/or new landscaped areas, ADA-accessible sloped walkways, concrete sidewalks, and asphalt drive lanes, as needed. Coordination with the City's separate Security System (Contractor will be required in the final phase of the Project to allow for various programming and testing of the security system and associated equipment.
