The work of constructing the Cast Iron Gas Main Replacement- (Material) Bid No. 25-11 JPWP25-135 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. Furnishing material for Cast Iron Replacement in Jacksonville 2. See Bid Form for Material List 3. Material furnished shall be BABA compliant The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 720 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 07/21/2025
