Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform the work of constructing the AL 204 Utility Relocation Project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents provided. Principal items of work include: 520 LF 6" PVC Water Line, 1 Fire Hydrant Reset, 3 6" Gate Valve with Box, 16 6" Retainer Gland, 3 6" Anchor Tee, 2 6" Water Meter and Box Set, 60 LF Ductile Iron Pipe, 2 Concrete Vault, 65 LF 12" Steel Encasement Pipe, 4200 LF 2" PE Gas Line, 1400 LF 4" PE Gas Line, 200 LF 1" Gas Service Line, 60 LF 8" Steel Casing, 30 2" PE Fittings, 20 4" PE Fittings, 1 2" Gas Regulator Station, 8 2" PE Valve with Box, 4 4" PE Valve with Box, 200 LF 6" DI Pipe Restrained Joint, and 400 LF 4" Steel Encasement Pipe. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE and the contract time is 90 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed if the contract time is exceeded. Contractor may apply for an extension, but it must be approved prior to the contract completion date.
