Winning bidder will provide system design, method of procedure, drawings, plan check, city permit, onsite labor and project management for the UPS replacement project. See attachments for more information. General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Contractor shall possess a valid Class B General Contractor's License at the time of submitting a proposal to the City and the licenses must remain valid for the duration of the agreement. Failure to possess the valid licenses shall render the proposal as non-responsive. The City of Livermore reserves the right to award or reject proposals in part or in whole and on any basis it deems in the best interest of the City. The City will award to the "Best Value" vendor per City's Municipal Code Section 2.68. The Contractor must have, or obtain, a valid business license to do business in the City of Livermore. Types of Services Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, vehicles, supplies, parts, and materials to provide the following summary of services as detailed in the subsequent pages of this Exhibit A: 1. Replacement of the existing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) at three City facilities: City Hall, Police Station, and Civic Center Library; 2. Provide system design, method of procedure, drawings, plan check, City permit, and project management for UPS system; 3. Receive, offload, uncrate, and assemble the replacement equipment; 4. Provide startup services of new UPS system; and, 5. Properly dispose of old equipment. Total pricing for requested services: $ Requirements 1. This agreement does not obligate City to any particular amount of work to be completed by Contractor. 2. Contractor shall follow all applicable safety and environmental rules and regulations. 3. City reserves the right to halt work at any time for noncompliance with this agreement, or unsafe work conditions or practices. 4. Contractor shall keep worksites reasonably clear of debris and protect the safety of the public and City employees at all times. Contractor shall promptly remove all materials from each job site upon completion of the work. 5. Contractor shall provide City with prompt notification of any deficiencies found during site visits. 6. Contractor shall perform replacement work as required by the City. 7. Contractor staff assigned to perform work at the Police Department location shall submit to and pass a background check. 8. Contractor shall not perform any repair work without prior authorization from the City's Project Manager
