The Project is located at East Avenue between S Livermore Avenue and Vasco Road; at Aaron Street between Holmes Street and S Street; at Via Granada east of El Dorado Drive; at Oak Street between K Street and Livermore Avenue; at Elm Street between P Street and O Street; at P Street between Locust Street and Pine Street; at Q Street between College Avenue and P Street; at Wall Street east of Judith Way; and at Pestana Way between Vista Court and Jensen Street, and is described as follows: Street lighting improvements by installing new streetlights, replacing lightbulbs on existing streetlights, tree trimming, minor pavement restoration within sidewalks, and installing new bollard lights at Carnegie Park. Time for Completion. The planned timeframe for Substantial Completion of construction of the Project is 50 Working Days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion of the Project is planned to be 20 Working Days after the date of Substantial Completion. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price and a Warranty Bond in the amount of 15% of the Contract Price. City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-substantive irregularities.
