Klamath County invites written sealed bids, from licensed General Contractors, to perform asbestos abatement and interior, non-structural demolition at the future site of Klamath County's "Klamath Hub" facility, located at 3319 S. 6th Street, Klamath Falls, OR. 97603 (formerly Hamscams Bowling Alley). Any party will be responsible to check for any addenda issued for this project. Responses will be distributed to all known ITB applicants and posted publicly, to ensure fairness and transparency. No verbal requests for information or clarifications will be accepted. Any oral communications shall be considered unofficial and non-binding. This project is subject to Oregon's prevailing wage rates. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit (Bank), or Bid Bond, payable to the Klamath County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Klamath County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may for good cause reject any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so. Klamath County reserves the right to rescind the award of any contract at any time before the execution of said contract by all parties without any liability against the County. All bids are subject to Oregon Law bid procedures.
