Renovation of a municipal facility in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work covered by this contract includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for construction of an entry roof over the ADA ramp at the main entrance to the District 11 office building as well as miscellaneous related items as shown on the drawings and specifications. General Summary: The current electric snow and ice melt system has failed which creates a safety hazard during winter months. This project is to build a roof over the entry ramp to reduce snow and ice buildup during winter weather events. We want to remove the current set of concrete steps, patch the handrail through where the steps are currently, and add a smallsidewalk on the north side of the ramp. We will also want can lights in the soffit tied into the buildings emergency power circuit for egress as well as a few other miscellaneous items included with this contract. The electrical work will be design build and the contractor will be responsible for any necessary permits and fees.
