Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: construction of 6- and 8-inch PVC and 16-inch ductile iron potable waterline, fire hydrants, boring, cold plane pavement removal, and asphalt concrete paving. Work performed by the contractor's own organization must be at least 30% of the awarded contract amount. The project is a public improvement subject to prevailing wage rates. Bids must be submitted through the City of Klamath Falls BidExpress website. On all projects, plans and specifications will be available online only at the BidExpress website. Bidders must identify whether they are a Resident Bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. The City may not receive or consider a bid for a public improvement contract unless the bidder is licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Contractors or subcontractors working with asbestos cement materials must be licensed according to ORS 468A.720. The City may reject any bid that does not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375.
