Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Temporary Work Zone Traffic Control, Erosion Control, Clearing and Grubbing, Tree Removal, General Excavation, Grading, Aggregate Base, Curb Installation, Asphalt Paving, Pavement Markings, and Sign Installation. Bids must be submitted through the City of Klamath Falls Bid Express website prior to the specified deadline. Subcontractor Disclosure forms are also required by the same date. Only registered plan holders may submit questions regarding the plans and specifications on the Bid Express project bid page. Additional information or interpretation, if necessary, will be provided as an Addendum to listed plan holders. The contractor must perform at least 30% of the awarded contract amount with their own organization. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates. Bidders must identify whether they are a Resident Bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. Only licensed contractors may bid, and those working with asbestos cement materials must be appropriately licensed. The City may reject any bid not complying with public contracting procedures and requirements, or for other good cause. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE: $550,000 TO $650,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
