Renovation of a conference / convention center in Banff, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The initial Capital Program for the three identified buildings (Glyde Hall, Lloyd Hall and the Professional Development Centre) has identified the need to execute a number of mechanical upgrades and enhancements in each of the three - this includes HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and so forth. Related electrical upgrades could include directly related work as well as fire alarm systems, primary distribution hardware, lighting fixtures, emergency power, etc. Various related or stand-alone architectural improvements are also anticipated. TIMELINE: RFP for mechanical and electrical engineering consultant services closed at the owner July 31, 2025. Schedules for tender and construction may be confirmed once further details are released for publication. *Budget to be determined.
