The Parkersburg Fire Department requires routine monthly maintenance on apparatus pumps and related equipment. The chassis of each apparatus is NOT within the scope of this RFP. The selected firm shall commit to a minimum of TWO (2) days per month to perform the following services: Regular inspection of pumps and equipment Regular maintenance of pumps and equipment, including aerial ladders Replacement of worn or defective parts Annual pump test of each apparatus Other as-needed maintenance and repair services The Fire Department currently consists of the following apparatus: 2000 Pierce Saber - 1500 GPM Hale pump 2001 Pierce Dash - 100' Platform - 2000 GPM Hale pump 2005 Pierce Enforcer - 1500 GPM Hale pump TWO (2) 2011 Pierce Saber - 1500 GPM Hale pump 2016 Pierce Enforcer 75' ladder - 1500 GPM Waterous pump 1994 Sutphen - 1500 GPM Hale pump 2022 Sutphen Monarch - 1500 GPM Hale pump The above list is informational, and apparatus may be retired, replaced, and newly acquired during the service term. The service agreement shall include ALL active apparatus operated by the Department regardless of any change in composition. The City of Parkersburg is soliciting proposals for Fire Department Equipment Maintenance Services for a term beginning as soon as possible and concluding on June 30, 2026.
