No definite date for the rebid.** The Contractor shall possess a Class B or C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) California contractor's license. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. This contract is subject to the State contract non discrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 12990. Two rooftop air conditioning units serving the gymnasium are currently non-functional. Based on diagnostic assessment, full replacement is required to restore proper cooling, ventilation, and heating to the space. The scope of work includes removal of existing rooftop units and associated equipment, procurement and installation of new packaged rooftop air conditioning units, and all necessary mechanical, electrical and control work to ensure complete and functional system integration. Minimum wage rates for this project as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor are set forth in the special provisions. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates predetermined by Secretary of Labor and prevailing wage rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations for similar classifications of labor, the contractor and his subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher wage rates. Pursuant to Section 1773 of the Labor Code, the general prevailing rate of wages in the county in which the work is to be done has been determined by the Director of the wage rates appear in the Department of Transportation publication entitled General Prevailing Wage Rates, (current semi annual which have been predetermined and are on file with the Department of Industrial Relations are referenced but not printed in said publication.
