Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Union City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
General Work Description: The work under this contract consists, in general, of removing and replacing damaged sidewalks, curb & gutters, ADA ramps, and driveways, installing tree root barriers, tree removal, and other miscellaneous items shown in the plans, specifications and bid schedule. The work may also include asphalt concrete, traffic control and installing temporary Clean Water protection measures, etc. The Contractor shall possess a Class A and/or Class C-8 California contractor's license. Minimum wage rates for this project as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor are set forth in the special provisions. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and prevailing wage rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations for similar classifications of labor, the contractor and his subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher wage rates.
