The project includes the Equipment and electrical upgrades at six pump stations The Contract Time will be Three Hundred Sixty (360) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $1,000 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. - General: The Madison County Wastewater Authority (MCWA) owns a system of sewage pumping stations and force mains which transports raw sewage to a treatment facility, including the Nissan Pump Station, CMIC#1 Pump Station, CMIC #2 Pump Station, Bozeman Pump Station, Haley Creek Pump Station, North Madison Pump Station and Post Oak Pump Station. This project involves rehabilitation or replacement or addition of items at these stations, as described in these bidding documents, plus supply of one or more portable emergency bypass pumps. Funding for the project is primarily through LFRF/MCWI funds. In May, 2025, MCWA awarded Contract 1 for cleaning and rehabilitation of the concrete surfaces of the Nissan pump station. Because of lengthy lead timesforthe stainlesssteel gate equipment at this station, draining and rehabilitation might not take place until August, 2025 or later. Contract 1 work is not anticipated to impact the electrical and controls work items included in Contract 2.
