This projects consists of furnahsing all materials, labor, equipement and tools necessary to construct a new water main along S. Denton Street and Breneman St in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project consists of installing approximately 1,000 L.F. of 8" PV water main including valves, fire hydrants, service connections and other components. In addition, the project consists of abandonning an existing 4" water main at Breneman Steet. The City of Hutchins City Hall is wheelchair accessible. For accommodations or sign interpretive services needed for proposal openings, please contact the Director of Public Works Office 48 hours in advance at (214) 364-3452 What to expect: Open cut installation of approximately 800 linear feet of 8" diameter PVC water main at S Denton Street and Breneman Street Trenchless installation of approximately 300 linear feet of 8" diameter water main at S. Denton Street. The potential pit locations for the trenchless installation are shown on the construction plans. Constractor shall select the means and methods for this trenchless installation. The trenchless installation can be replaced by an option cut installation as a Bid Alternate as indicated on the construction plans. No pre bid meeting will be held.
