Question and Request for Interpretation Submission Deadline:July 31, 2025, 5:00pm Bidders shall note recent revisions that request submission of "Good Faith Effort" documentation evidencing the Bidder's attempts to achieve the City's MBE/WBE Contract Participation and Employment Goals The City of Daytona Beach is hereby soliciting responses from interested parties to provide replacement of the existing watermain structure running along Grandview Avenue, from Harvey Avenue to East International Speedway Boulevard, as directed in the plans provided.. GENERAL The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the replacement of the existing watermain structures located along Grandview Avenue, but not limited to the following: This project includes removal of approximately 1,300 LF of existing 10-inch Ductile Iron Pipe watermain along South Grandview Avenue between Harvey Avenue and International Speedway Boulevard. This project will include replacing all water services, water meters, and meter boxes along this route. 1-inch services will also be provided at the edge of the right at the vacant lot locations to ensure no open cutting of the roadway for these lots after this project has been completed. The existing watermain is located along the eastern side of the roadway along South Grandview Avenue and the proposed watermain will need to be installed approximately 3 feet to the west of the existing watermain. Valves, main extensions and other various work will need to be provided with this watermain replacement to ensure that the switchover from the existing to the proposed goes smoothly. The Contract shall refer to the notes located within the plan view sheets of the construction plans for any site-specific work related to this project.
