The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Bliss, TX is issuing a construction solicitation W911SG-25-B-A026, in support of the United States Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Bliss, Texas. General Information: Remove existing asphalt shingle roofing system at building 118 and provide a new metal shingles. Project includes some wood plank deck replacement, new self-adhering underlayment, new metal roof shingles, existing wood soffit and fascia repair and paint, the reinforcement of rafters exposed at soffit, new prefinished drip edge, gutters, and downspouts. Provide a six-nail pattern at each shingle installation. Install in accordance with roofing manufacturers details required to meet manufacturer's 30-year roof warranty 120 mph wind speed coverage. Building 118 is a historical building. Procurement will be solicited as one hundred percent (100%) Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) . The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated period of performance is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed has been issued.
