Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Moultrie, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of the following major elements: approximately 12,516 SY of 6 soil cement base, 2,002 TN of 12.5mm Superpave, 4,674 LF 24 concrete miami curb, 1,957 LF storm piping (15 to 30), 15,635 LF thermoplastic traffic striping, maintenance of traffic, erosion and sedimentation control, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. The successful bidder, being responsible as well as responsive, shall commence work with an adequate force and equipment on a date specified in a written order of the Project Engineer. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the date of notice to proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract price will be required. This project is funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant. The work to be performed under this contract is under a program providing direct Federal financial assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 U. Section 3 requires that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for employment and training be given to the low income residents of the project area, and contracts for work in connection with the project to be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project.
