Milling and Paving The bid form and attachments are to be returned in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "bid for M-66 Milling & Paving" and shall include the name and address of the bidder. This work is being bid out by Mecosta County Road Commission on behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation for the HMA skip patch cold milling and resurfacing of M-66, both northbound and southbound lanes, approximately 0.1 mi south of 17 Mile Rd, Sheridan Township, Mecosta Co. No work should begin without a final approval from Kyle Knoop, Michigan Department ofTransportation's Maintenance Coordinator. This work consists of milling and paving both 15' lanes and shoulders (30' total width) of M-66 for a length of 600' and a total of 2000 square yards of milling and paving. Up to 2" of cold milling as staked in both lanes. o Placement of 220#/syd HMA 4EL or approved alternative including tacking all milled surfaces and double tacking vertical edges. Milling and paving limits have been staked by others, Provide a single lane daytime only traffic regulator-controlled lane closure in accordance with the attached detail with a maximum closure length of 1,200 feet.
