As of August 28, 2025, the project was awarded to Pavement Coatings Co., with an awarded amount of $2,910,328.82. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, all tools, materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the preparation and placement of surface seals including Chip Seal and Tire Rubber Modified Surface Seal (TRMSS) treatments, associated striping removal and replacement, refreshing of existing painted street markings, traffic control, public notifications, and installation of necessary environmental pollution prevention requirements on various streets in the City of Santa Maria. A t the time of the bid opening, the successful Bidder must be legally entitled to perform contracts requiring a California "A" or "C-12" Contracting License. No pre-bid conference will be held. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids as the best interests of the City may dictate and, to the extent permitted by law, waive any irregularity in any bid. If there is any reason for believing that collusion exists among the bidders, the City may reject any or all bids.
