Renovation of a detention facility in Santa Maria, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The County of Santa Barbara, General Services - Procurement Services, seeks a Contractor to provide services for the removal and installation of lighting panels at the Northern Branch Jail. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove existing lighting panels and install new lighting panels. Work shall include the safe disconnection and removal of existing panels, proper handling and disposal in accordance with County requirements, and installation of new panels in compliance with the installation requirements, designs, and specifications set forth in the Exhibits (D-1, D-2, an D-3). The Contractor shall ensure all new installations are fully operational, code-compliant, and coordinated with the Project Manager and County Facilities staff. All work shall be performed with minimal disruption to ongoing jail operations. Questions or requests for clarification of this IFB must be submitted in writing on the Public Purchase website. Any amendment or addendum to this IFB is valid only if issued in writing to the IFB on the Public Purchase website.
