The Dodge County Sheriff Office (DSCO) is requesting proposals to provide a digital inmate telephone, mail service, and inmate tablets with video visitation and services at the Dodge County Jail. DSCO is interested in receiving proposals that provide a fully operational system, which includes all phone, tablet, and mail services at the lowest cost possible for inmates, family and friends for all calls and visits processed by coin-less telephones and tablets, as well as an administrator to monitor day-to-day operations. This method of providing service will include a single primary vendor with end-to-end network and equipment responsibilities. Sub-contractor relationships will be permitted as needed to obtain and maintain end-to-end service. The system shall include, at no cost to the County; installation, maintenance and service of the equipment and tablet system as a whole, including infrastructure for connectivity of equipment and tablets to the provided solution. The vendor must provide a complete “turn-key” fully operational system, which will provide local, interLATA and intra LATA, and interstate and intrastate service. The minimum requirements of this system shall consist of forty-eight (48) fixed inmate telephones, and up to three hundred fifty-eight (358) tablets for recording and monitoring all communication (max rated capacity). The goal of this RFP is to procure a complete inmate phone, mail, and tablet with video visitation for the benefit of the Dodge County Jail. The County desires lowest possible cost to inmates, state of the art technology, accountability, enhanced customer service, increased performance, maintenance and service of the equipment and the system as a whole. The County desires to contract with a vendor who will assure that calls are billed, the costs of services and equipment are paid, and customer service is handled while providing the lowest cost possible to the inmates and no cost to the County.
