Demolition and site work for a residential development in Nevada, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Demolition of Structures The demolition at 403 South Spring Street shall include the house only, as well as clean up of the yard. This demolition does not include the garage located on the property. The City of Nevada, Missouri, is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the demolition of three (3) structures located within the city limits. Project Scope The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete demolition of the following properties: o 403 S. Spring St., Nevada, MO - All structures. This demolition will need to be scheduled and supervised. More information below. o 222 S. Oak St., Nevada, MO - All structures. o 1805 N. Main St., Nevada, MO - All Structures. Please note: The actual list of structures may vary prior to the signing of the final contract. The City reserves the right to remove structures from the list based on project requirements and conditions. Demolition Requirements Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. Specific requirements include, but are not limited to: o Demolition Timeline: All structures must be completely demolished within a sixty (60) day period from the date of contract execution. o Wet Demolition Requirement: All demolition work must be performed as a wet demolition in compliance with Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) regulations, including the use of adequate water or other approved methods to suppress dust and prevent the release of hazardous materials. o Debris Removal: All debris, including but not limited to, concrete, wood, metal, and other construction waste, must be removed from the properties and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. o Sewer Capping and Inspection: The sewer line must be capped and inspected by the Building Inspector prior to covering.
