Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond for five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. One hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bonds are required with the contract award. This amount includes any approved contingency. Bidders shall have a valid State of Arkansas Contractor's License by the bid deadline. Bidders shall have a valid registration and be in good standing with the Arkansas Secretary of State at the time of the contract award.
