Project Number: TX FLAP UV CR203(1) Reconstruction and widening of approximately 0.71 miles of County Road 203 (Fish Hatchery Road) to improve access to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Uvalde National Fish Hatchery in Uvalde County, Texas. The work includes full-depth reclamation, placement of aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement, drainage improvements, signing, and pavement markings. Additional construction activities involve clearing and grubbing, embankment construction, installation of pipe culverts, erosion and sediment control, stormwater pollution prevention, and traffic control. The project also includes the removal and resetting of mailboxes, seeding and mulching for turf establishment, and the use of recycled aggregate base from pulverized existing pavement. All work must comply with the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-24), applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other agency-specific requirements. The contractor is required to use the Masterworks system for documentation and reporting, and must adhere to strict environmental, safety, and quality control standards throughout the duration of the project.
