Site work and paving for a civil project in Elk City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Set up temporary levys and pumps to pump around during duration of work Saw cut road on both sides of existing culvert. Saw cut MUST be 1 wider in both directions than planned excavation trench. Remove existing paving and CMP culvert and dispose of all material Grade bottom of trench for new culvert to match existing headwalls, leaving room for 6 bedding material (existing headwalls and abutments to remain and be reused) Supply, deliver, place and grade bedding material in bottom of trench. Bedding material to be #57 class A or clean chip rock Supply, deliver and install approx. 60 of RCP (approx. 25 x 45) Backfi ll to subgrade with same material as bedding material. Compact aggregate from top with plate compactor Replace cut out section with 4,000 psi 3 day high early concrete at a thickness of 6 Replace pipe rail on south side of road with like rail lean up, dress road edges and remove temporary dykes Contractor must visit and familiarize themselves with site prior to bidding. Be aware this is in low lying creek bed and water may be encountered.
