Question Deadline 08/04/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Bidders shall submit questions via email to Ms. Kellie Au at kellie.au@chp.ca.gov. SCOPE OF WORK 5. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED: A. This work shall include all labor and services to sustain and maintain in an attractive, healthy, and safe condition all flowers, ground covers, lawns, shrubs, trees, and all other plants. It shall also include the proper clean-up and off-site disposal of all clippings, debris, pruning, etc., generated in the process. All work shall be in full compliance with procedures and techniques as described and outlined in the specifications. Paved surfaces shall be kept clean. B. Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, including blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, pruning tools, vacuums, etc., needed for the performance of landscape services once per week in this Agreement. C. Contractor shall submit to the State a list identifying the manufacturer name, brand name, Chemical Material Safety Data Sheets and intended use of each item that will be used in the performance of the work. The Contractor shall not use any chemical which the State representative has not approved. 6. QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTOR'S PERSONNEL All plant maintenance persons utilized by Contractor in the performance of landscape services in this agreement shall be fully qualified, professional gardeners with at least one (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance. This experience must have provided, as a minimum, broad knowledge of all phases of landscape pest and disease control, shrub and tree pruning, fertilization, and irrigation system repair and operation. Trees shalI be pruned by an experienced, qualified tree trimmer. All normal safety devices and equipment shall be used. Contractor may subcontract with a tree trimming firm or hire a tree trimmer.
