Renovation of a civil project in Lakeland, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of October 8, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This project includes transporting an existing natural gas powered emergency generator (from the City's WWTP located at 9708 Old Brownsville Road, Lakeland TN 38002) and installing it at the new location adjacent to the sanitary sewer lift station located at 3309 Monroe Road. The contractor is responsible for all utility locates in the area of work and for those that may be affected by the construction required for the repair. The location and depths of all utilities shown on the Construction Plans are estimated. All coordination with Memphis Light Gas & Water (MLGW) to connect the generator shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The City will coordinate with MLGW for the extension of the natural gas line to the site.
