Work on which proposals are invited consists of removal and replacement of 350' of 14" standard weight steel well casing with 400' of 12" standard weight casing liner of the North Biloxi Water well The maximum time allowable for completion of said project is two hundred fifty (250) calendar days following the City's written order to commence (Notice to Proceed). Question Deadline 08/06/2025 Submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the Contract Documents within seven (7) calendar days of the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond if the bid equals or exceeds $25,000. If the bid is less than $25,000, the City of Biloxi may elect to make a lump sum payment at the completion of the job, in which case a payment and performance bond shall not be required. Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. Such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who this to carry out the terms of the accepted Bid and/or execute the Contract and Post Performance and Payment Bond as required within the time specified. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the proposal accepted.
