Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lexington, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Lexington and Community Fair Board are soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the removal of existing top soils, construction of new concrete walkways, and replacement of soils at Main Street Park. The project includes the following scope of work: Removal of existing top soils to a specified depth. Construction of new concrete walkways and seating areas in accordance with provided specifications. Replacement and grading of soils to restore site conditions. Project includes: Removal of 44 cubic yards of soil containing misc bricks and large gravel. Form and pour concrete walks of 916 square feet using approximately 12 yards of concrete. Haul in and placement of new topsoil provided and located approx 2 miles from the project site The City of Lexington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the organization. All work must comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Contractors must provide proof of licensing, insurance, and bonding as specified in the bid documents.
